After decades of partnership, USAID has now closed its missions globally. But the impact remains—woven into policies, institutions, communities, and lives.
Over the next five weeks, we’ll be reflecting together on how USAID left its mark: the distinctive approaches, programs, and legacies that continue shaping development long after projects close.

But here’s the key:
👉 You don’t need to wait for “your week.”
Please share your own stories, photos, or reflections on any USAID model or program at any time using #CelebratingUSAID (and, if you wish, #CelebratingUSAIDLegacy, #CelebratingUSAIDImpact, or #CelebratingUSAIDVoices).
Whether you were a staff member, partner, or participant, your voice matters. Together, we can celebrate and preserve this collective memory before it fades
📌 Your Turn
This campaign is not just about one story — it’s about ours.
We do NOT want any colleague unrecognized, any lesson overlooked, or any experience unrecorded.
👉 Add your voice. Share a reflection, a photo, or a word of appreciation using #CelebratingUSAID. Together, we ensure the legacy is celebrated and remembered.
🚀 GO ON — let’s do this together. Add your voice, a reflection, a photo, or a word of appreciation, tag those who inspired you, and keep the story alive using #CelebratingUSAID.
